What you’ll do

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Research and identify target accounts aligned with Ontop’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and triggers
  • Build and maintain high-quality prospect lists using tools such as Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and Amplemarket
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns via email, cold calls, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and video outreach
  • Source and reactivate accounts for prospecting and demo booking, Lead Qualification
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns (MQLs) and outbound-sourced prospects
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess prospect fit, pain points, and timing
  • Apply qualification frameworks (e.g., ICP fit, scale, pain acknowledged, timeline within 90 days)
  • Ensure leads meet the criteria to become Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) before handoff, AE Handoff & Collaboration
  • Provide a structured handoff to AEs including:Β Β Β 
  • Account snapshot (company, role, worker count, countries)Β Β Β 
  • Trigger and context (why the prospect engaged now)Β Β Β 
  • Stated pain (in the prospect’s own words)Β Β Β 
  • Meeting objective and specific concerns raised
  • Coordinate with AEs to ensure continuity and a seamless prospect experience
  • Support complex or high-value deals with async Slack handoffs or voice notes when needed

What we’re looking for

What you need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (B2B preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and managing rejection positively
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous BDR/SDR experience in a SaaS or HR Tech environment
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms (Amplemarket, Outreach, SalesLoft)
  • Familiarity with social selling techniques on LinkedIn
  • Understanding of lead qualification methodologies (BANT, MEDDIC)
  • Knowledge of global hiring, payroll, or EOR industry dynamics
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance prospecting and messaging workflows
