Questions about the Ontop card

What is the Ontop card?
A Visa Platinum card linked to your Ontop Global Account. It spends your USD balance anywhere Visa is accepted, online and in stores.
Does the card have fees?
There are no foreign transaction fees on card spend, and the physical card is free for Reserve members in eligible countries. ATM operators may charge their own fees; the card terms list the rest.
Is it a debit or a credit card?
Debit. It spends the money already in your Global Account, so there is no credit line and nothing to top up.
What are the card limits?
ATM withdrawals with the physical card: up to $500 per transaction, one withdrawal and $500 a day, and $1,500 a month. Purchase limits are in the app.
How do I get the card?
Download the Ontop app, open your Global Account and issue your virtual card. Request the physical card from the same place.
Can I use it at ATMs?
Yes, with the physical card, within the ATM limits above. ATM operators may add their own fees.
Who can get the Ontop card?
Ontop Global Account users. Availability depends on your country of residence.
Is the card safe?
Yes. Online purchases can be protected with 3D Secure, transactions are monitored for fraud, and you can freeze the card in the app.
Do I earn cashback with the card?
Yes, with Reserve: 10% on travel and ride sharing, 5% on restaurants, delivery, supermarkets, entertainment, fashion, technology and beauty, and 1% on everything else, up to $200 a month.
Do I need to top up the card?
No. The card is linked to your Ontop Global Account, so it uses the balance you already have.
